1. Operation norms and techniques

Stretch rate control: When manually winding, it is recommended to control the stretch rate between 50% and 150% to avoid excessive stretching which may cause the film to become thinner and more prone to breakage. The machine film should be operated strictly in accordance with the preset parameters of the equipment.

Uniform tension and coverage: Maintain uniform tension. When winding, ensure at least a 50% overlap rate to guarantee that the goods are evenly wrapped as a whole without any weak points.

Bottom reinforcement: The starting winding point should begin at the bottom of the pallet and be reinforced 3 to 5 times to withstand the maximum pressure of the goods on the upper layer.

Top sealing: Complete the sealing at the top of the goods to prevent the film layer from loosening.

2. The environment matches the equipment

Temperature adaptability: In low-temperature environments, the film will become brittle. Therefore, low-temperature resistant formula stretch film should be selected. At high temperatures, it is necessary to prevent the membrane from softening too much and losing its binding force.

Equipment specificity: The formulas and physical properties of machine-use films and hand-use films are different. They must not be mixed. The machine film is specially designed for high-speed pre-stretching. It is prone to breakage when forcibly stretched by hand.

3. Storage and Security

Storage conditions: It should be stored in a cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight or heat sources, to prevent the film roll from aging, sticking or deforming.

Operation safety: It is recommended to wear protective gloves when operating manually to prevent sharp edges or quick unwinding from cutting fingers. Machine operation must comply with equipment safety regulations. It is strictly forbidden for body parts to approach rotating components.

4. Appropriate material selection

Select the appropriate film (thickness and strength) based on the weight, shape and sharpness of the edges and corners of the goods. Sharp goods should be used in conjunction with paper corner protectors to prevent direct punctures.
