HuleadPack three tips to see through the real quality of stretched winding film

To distinguish the quality of stretch wrap film, a comprehensive assessment should be made from three dimensions: physical properties, raw material processing, and usage performance. The following are the core criteria for judgment:
I. Key Physical Performance Indicators
Tensile and resilience: The tensile rate of high-quality film can reach 250%-300%, and it quickly retracts without changing its width when released. Poor-quality films are prone to breakage, have weak resilience, and become significantly thinner and whiter when stretched.
Puncture resistance strength: When punctured by a sharp object, high-quality films show an extended deformation followed by a slow rupture, with the rupture opening being circular. Poor-quality films, on the other hand, will directly break due to brittleness and are prone to tearing and spreading.
Self-adhesive durability: The adhesion between the film layers should be uniform and moderate. After bonding, it should not easily loosen and maintain its adhesion even after long-term storage.
Ii. Production Process and Raw Material Characteristics
Uniformity of thickness: The edges of the entire roll of film are smooth without waves, and the thickness tolerance is controlled within ±10% to ensure stable winding tension.
Raw material purity: The transparent film should be slightly white and transparent, without yellow spots, black dots or misty stripes (a characteristic of excessive recycled material).
Degree of molecular orientation: The pre-stretched film needs to form a dense molecular orientation through a synchronous stretching process, and when torn horizontally by hand, it has a distinct tough texture.
Iii. Practical Scenario Verification
Machine adaptability: On high-speed winding machines, smooth unwinding and film breakage are required, and the pre-stretching mechanism should be able to stably achieve the set stretching ratio.
Environmental weather resistance: No white marks when bent in low-temperature environments (below -5℃), and does not overly soften or flow in high-temperature environments (above 50℃).
Comprehensive cost performance: Calculate the actual consumable cost per pallet package. Although the unit price of high-quality high-stretch film is slightly higher, the unit package cost is usually lower.
Final recommendation: Before purchasing, it is essential to request samples for simulated working condition tests, combining data such as longitudinal tensile rate, transverse tear resistance, and actual measurements of edge and corner wrapping, to avoid making judgments solely based on thickness or unit price.
