Product description

Plastic steel strapping (also known as PET strapping) is a high-strength plastic strapping material mainly made of polyethylene terephthalate, which is formed by special plasticizing and stretching processes. It appears as a semi-transparent or milky white band, combining the flexibility of plastic with the strength of steel.

This product features excellent tensile strength (up to 50%-80% of the strength of steel strips), high toughness and corrosion resistance. It does not rust, does not contaminate the goods, and has a high surface friction coefficient, making it less likely to slip off after bundling. Tensioning and hot-melt bonding can be quickly achieved through electric or pneumatic packaging tools, forming a firm and long-lasting binding effect. Compared with traditional steel straps, it is lighter in weight, safer to operate, and does not require edge protection treatment. It can significantly improve packaging efficiency and reduce the overall cost.

t is widely used in heavy cargo bundling and pallet reinforcement in industries such as building materials, papermaking, textiles, metal processing, and logistics container transportation. It is especially suitable for export transportation and use in humid environments, and is a lightweight and environmentally friendly solution to replace steel straps in modern industrial packaging.
